The day is done. It was a productive one, but not without its unforeseen surprises. The to-do list was scheduled with exact timelines against each entry and one after the other they were ticked off – very satisfying indeed.
Then boom, the electricity went out at the exact point I started researching a piece for an article on the net – and in my world no electricity means no wi-fi, and no research means no article.
I packed up to work at the shop, but as luck would have it, I knew just about every table and progress came at a snail’s pace. Frustrating to say the least, but even though it’s not completely done, progress was made in the end.
I have now sat down to enjoy a glass of wine on a beautiful summer’s eve. Tomorrow is another day, and sitting on this veranda with a glass of wine is by far the best moment this day has brought along. I’m pressing pause to enjoy.
