Trying to pinpoint the exact moment that your boy turned into a man is impossible – it’s almost like a pendulum that swings out of one zone, into the next and back again for a while, and then all of a sudden there’s no going back.
A mere five years make such an enormous difference in their lives and is the difference between boyhood and manhood. This evening we met the junior boy whom Levi will be mentoring for the duration of this year.
Not too long ago he was the one who was tiny and unsure and wobbly on his feet. Now he is taking on a role of leadership and providing security for a boy who is just as tiny, unsure and wobbly as he was.
My wish for both of these boys is that this year is a fantastic one for them – that they both spread their wings and fly as high as they possibly can.
