KIND STRANGER

In preparation of my husband’s birthday tomorrow, I visited the mall this afternoon. Malls aren’t really my thing, and getting in and out as soon as possible is generally the modus operandi.

I got what I needed and headed on out. After paying for the parking ticket, I got in the car, and started thinking about all the next stops I wanted to make.

To my surprise, a security guard knocked on my window waving my parking ticket in the air – I didn’t even realise that in the rush to be on my way, I left the ticket in the machine.

Had he not come after me to give me the ticket, I would’ve had to face quite an ordeal. I am so grateful to this stranger for taking the time to help me out. Now it’s my turn to pay it forward.
