Anticipating the disappointment of tomorrow is the reason that I am writing these words right now.
Thus far, I’ve not missed a day of posting since I started this blog, but I must admit, today I came very close to not making it – I was just not in the mood, really.
I suppose age helps a bit in the understanding that wasted opportunities today lead to a whole lot of regret tomorrow.
So, for the sake of avoiding the words from the American Authors song – I should’ve, I would’ve, I could’ve but I didn’t, I opened my computer in the quest of posting a moment to cherish every day of this year.
And the moment I cherish today – understanding that a whole lot of small efforts contribute to something bigger – and being able to count on yourself to make it happen.
