COME TO A CHILL

There definitely comes a time where late nights have a very serious effect when followed by busy days – even if no alcohol is involved. Last night I attended a function that ended much later than anticipated, and even though I desperately wanted to press the snooze button this morning, there was no such luck.

One of those where the one thing is followed by the next, and for all of them you need to be on top of your game. Pretty exhausting.

Settling down is the absolute best feeling after being so on the go. It’s as if your entire being finally catches up with you, and you are aware of the gratitude that oozes from the core. You can hear every cell in your body say – thank you…finally…what took you so long…

Even though there are, as always, a few more things on the to-do list, I’m calling it a night. Giving the body, but mostly the mind a little break. Lie down, get some shut eye and just chill.
